Coordinating Success
As the Technical Co-ordinator for the West Springfield High School 2013 Graduation Success Summer Program, I was responsible for ensuring all participants acquired the technology instruction they needed to be successful in high school and beyond. In addition to my core duties I produced documentary featured on the left, which directly resulted in funding to continue the program. I was also able to re-allocate field trip money to purchase android tablets for all participants.

Special Education Support
Mr. Walter Pacosa, Special Education teacher at West Springfield High School, explains how my instruction in iPads and the app "Pictello" are impacting his life skills classroom.
Changing Lives
Combined with a schoolwide assembly, the short film "Tempering" opened up avenues of discussion between students. The video peers into the lives of four students whose success and exemplary attitudes belie a difficult past. It was produced by myself and my library intern, who went on to one of the best college film programs in the country. This video was featured at the 2013 national PBIS conference.
Planning and Budget
I presented this plan to enhance School Media Center services at West Springfield High School for years to come. For an initial investment of $4000 and no change to the regular yearly operating budget, the students at WSHS have gained access to research instruction, a strong inter-library loan program and access to approximately 500,000 ebooks to enhance this year's roll out of the 1:1 chromebook initiative.
3d Printing Experience
In Early 2013 I wrote and received a grant for a 3d Printer. For less than $1,000 your School Media Center can become a true makerspace.
Budget Example
A budget created and presented at the New Building Technology Committee in West Springfield, Massachusetts. Authored in June 2013.
